According to her official website she is done with her legal issues, can perform under the Poe name and make money again. She is in the studio and actually played a show as Poe just this month.
This is the sort of thing that makes me happy.

You serious? She is a singer who writes lovely songs about not usually lovely things. I am still not certain what "Choking the Cherry" is about. Listen to her music! She is good! |

Her big hit was Hello (link is to the "Rock" version which is my favorite) which is a song, obsessively, about a hacker.
After the success of "Pride and Prejudiced and Zombies" and "Sense and Sensibility and Sea Monsters" something should be done with Poe. Maybe "The Raven and Fluffy Kitties" or "Tell Tale Heart Full of Rainbows"

Her second album, Haunted was written along side her brother's book, House of Leaves about the death of their father. Both are quite remarkable to enjoy and I cannot recommend them enough. |

House of Leaves gets all weird though. Definitely recommend the album, though. She is one of my favs. |
