Finally got around to posting my review for Up In The Air. Everybody check it out!

Reviews for Daybreakers and A Single Man are sure to follow at some point. I've been terrible at keeping up with this. But at least I'm always nagging myself that as long as I've watched the movie, I have to write a review.

In the past ~5 months I watched 100 movies. Well, 99. I need to go back and get one not released on DVD yet.

Yes, I am posting this link everywhere because I DID IT!

I went to see The Lovely Bones last night. I didn't think it was gory at all, but my mother-in-law had to leave the theatre. Very good adaptation of the book, though.

I thoroughly enjoyed the movie. I liked the book, but it's been a long time since I read it so I thought the movie did a great job.

It's been a lot of fun reading up on your reviews! I don't know if I have the follow-through to do something like that. Also, I was going to say this regardless of your praisey post Razz

Also, watched Bride Wars recently. It was alright, quite a few funny parts but not great. I guess it fit its genre?

I'm a bit late to the game, but the movies I've seen on that list I pretty much agree with. Well, minus Lord of the Rings, which I liked.

Last couple movies I watched:

Zombieland - Totally awesome movie. I loved it. Had a good mixture of action, comedy, and the cameo in it was pretty much the best thing I've seen in a long time.

Law Abiding Citizen - I didn't hate it, but I couldn't really get into it for some reason.

The Box - Wow, worst movie in a long time. It's probably this year's The Spirit. If you've seen that movie, you know those are bold words.

Just watched Curious Case of Benjamin Button. Really, really long and kinda slow, but overall interesting. I'd say it was good, not great.

Over the weekend I saw Ponyo. Holy Carp, what a fun movie! Julie and I were in Awe of the Cute. AWE, I say.

I'm not a huge Tarantino fan, so I haven't been expecting Inglourious Basterds to be very good. The more hype it's gotten, I've been more intrigued. Finally saw it, and it was great! I really liked the way it told the story and the cinematography was wonderful. Duly surprised!

I saw Shutter Island last night and LOVED it! And everyone was right, I did not guess the ending. Mind you, I rarely do in movies where the ending was obvious to everyone else.

Watched Where the Wild Things Are last night. It was visually appealing, and I like the monster get-ups, but the whole message seemed to be "let's let kids do whatever they want and let's reward their bad behavior with chocolate cake!" and that isn't really anything I'm going to get behind.

Toy Story 3 earlier (like...10 minutes ago). At least as good as 1 if not better.
